Thanks Kraffy and canberra97 for confirming that the picture was taken at Stockholm. That had been my guess but it's good to have corroboration. Derek

Since she is dressed overall, this could well be one of her first calls under Soviet ownership.

This is our capital Stockholm, from the quay where today Viking Line and Birka Line departs (from 1973). The USSR Morflot ships liked to dress overall when on cruise - so it can be any time. This quay was the regular quay used by USSR Morflot also on regular timetable lines between Leningard, Riga, Tallinn and Stockholm and on the long line from Leningrad to London, Le Havre -and some few of these lines also continued to La Habana on Cuba.
