Torrens....

You are quite correct when you state that the four ships were lost in the Pacific. Whereas the "Kelvinbank", "Southbank" and "Lindenbank" were all lost in the Islands, the "Levernbank" was lost at Matarani off the West Coast of South America towards the end of her voyage from Calcutta.

Was'nt that when she was trying to get into Matarani in dense fog , went aground on rocks , was re-floated but, sank when they were trying to get her into Matarani . Mid 70's?
