As soon as you see them you know it`s L.O.F always distinctive and good looking ships from that era, never sailed on the Resolution, but did the Ambassador, Independence, Pioneer, Adventurer, Harmony, great ships, great company.

Looking a lot smarter in the photo than when I sailed on her in '71. By then she was a bulker with much reinforcement on her cracking decks.
We had one cargo in four months, then laid up.

Built at Haverton Hill by Furness Shipbuilding Co Ltd in 1957.
DWT 24,900. Steam Turbines giving a service speed of 14 kts.

Was on the Resoluton and Pioneer early 70,s great company and best Curry i have ever had.
