sharky, is it correct that on this vessel a "divider" was put in place on the Deck so that the Crew and Owner/Guest's had their own area's? and did not mix?

Hi,

Yes, she operated a system of "dual circulation". Effectively the crew access was an the port side and led down one deck to the crew accommodation which had direct access back up to the bridge and aft to the engine room.

The owners and guest access was on the starboard side an led to the dining room and guest cabins on the main deck and up to the saloon and owners suite and on to the bridge. There are a number of cross connecting doors to allow crew to carry out their duties.

The port side is the crew's personal space on the upper deck and the venue of a number of "crew meetings"! It worked very well, and you could go days if not weeks without seeing the owner or guests if you were, like me, an enginneer (probably for the best).
