Built in 1910 in Vlaardingen in Holland for the North Sea herring fisheries. From 1939 as coastal freighter in Norway. Back to holland in 1993, turned into a charter boat. Accomodates up to 9 paying guests.
The type is on the continent called "fish-logger", (distinct from the "lugger", which carries lug sails). She doesn't differ much from a small British ketch, I think, although the the bowsprit would have pierced the hull on the side of the stem on a Brit. (A wooden one at least, not used to seeing anything else built in Britain).
Here's a website in Dutch: http://www.lotos.nl/mainpage.html Regards, Stein.
