The doc of this vessel MD Piatnikowski takes on 26th August, 1973 an appendectomy on board of the eastgerman MT / MV EISENHÜTTENSTADT in the Indian Ocean near the african coast. 2 days MT LUTSK and MT EISENHÜTTENSTADT operated at sea together up to the departure of the sick chef-stewardess at Mogadiscio. I remember to this days now again.
