Build in 1952 by Kockums Mek.Verksted Malmø as "Avance" for Dalen & Fraternitas Gøteborg Sweden.
Tonnage : brt/nrt/tdw 10.593/6.048/16.050.
Machinery : 2xMAN 2x3.500 bhp.Service Speed 14.5 Knots.
1954 The company merged with Jørgen Lorentzen of Oslo Norway.
1958 Sold to Einar Rasmussen Kristiansand Norway.Renamed "Polyeagle"
1965 Sold to Meruria Transport Monrovia Liberia.Renamed "Gem"
1974 BU Vinaroz Spain

I served as 1:st engineer on her ca 1973 and there was only one doubleacting twostroke Kockum-MAN engine. If I remember well it was 8 cylinders.

Clarkson's Tanker Register quotes her main engine as a single 6 cyl two stroke double acting Kockum-MAN oil engine developing 6,000 bhp @ 115 rpm.
