My first trip to sea was on the Baltic Valiant in 1970........fond memories.

Have found out that the MARIAM VI, (her final name) IMO 6927456 arrived at anchor off Alang 26th October 2007, waiting to be beached.
37 years wasn't a bad run!

Im not too sure but were a couple of United Baltic ships built on the Wear at Sunderland?, Baltic Vanguard & Venture ring a bell.

sailed on baltic valiant twice in 75 and again in 76 was on the run to lenningrad and gydinia poland from hull was a great little ship
