This ane came to a sad end Ally,she went doon about the Fair Isle channel,think some o' the crew perished.

was it not nearly a complete loss of crew. Dad's got the newspaper cuttin in one o his many scrapbooks. what boat is that on the inside o her?

I found the scrap book, 3 men were lost in this incident. says she turned turtle in heavy swells steaming away with the Mystic. one of the crew of the Mystic actually jamp into the sea to try an save men but was nearly killed himself. Only 1 survivor from the Majestic who jamp as she rolled over. Doesn't sound nice at all!

Were they not hauling back to a fastner when she turned over..? If i mind right the weather wasn't to bad at the time Leslie..

i really don't keen Charlie, it says nothin in the bit i have. i suppose it must no have been too bad before a guy jamp off the other boat
