I have the "missing" from "Clydeships", but I have some slight doubts about that. For one, Basil Lubbock has her still afloat in 1926. But more importantly Tomaso Gropallo in "Ultima Vela" has another ship from the same shipowner, the LAURO ex BRENDA 1877, going missing on a voyage from Newcastle NSW to the West coast of South America. And he does not mention the MARIO as suffering that end. Of course they might both have disappeared on that route.
