When I was a small boy in the late 1950's I went aboard a Coaster in Flathouse Docks, Portsmouth, with my parents. I think we were just looking at the ships and maybe got invited aboard? I always remember the ship had timber on board and was called the "Marlies". Could this really be the same ship?
