Photo taken aboard the Mary Croan in 1965 towing at Skerryvore. Myself on the left and Brian Peterkin (Speedy) who was later drowned aboard the Burghead Fishing Vessel Rosebud lost with all hands west of the Torran Rocks,(Mull)cant remember the year he was only 21 years old, a good Friend and Shipmate

Good photo,typical "Speedy" I think it was December 1970 the Rosebud was lost.

Hi John i thought you might have a comment to make about this one, i have two or three more photos taken by me on the same day one of Ginger , Bruce More, and Big Dainel Main, remember him will have to post them sometime.

Great to see the photos but you have to draw a line.Would one of Ginger no cause a computer virus.Lol!!!!!
If it is Daniel(father had Melita) he is a poor thing now.Almost bent double and eyesight failing.Big broad built man that he was

Yes John That was the old joke they were coming into land at Oban in the summer time in the Rose of Moray and his brother shouted from the stem for Gods sake Willy stick your head back in the wheelhouse the visitor's will think its a cattle boat. But he was good man to sail with. Thats the man John i heard he wasn't keeping very well, a gentle Giant

Robbie. Uncles had a Sputnik for a short spell but cant remember which one it was was it not the Silver Viking, phone a friend time.

OK about Uncles Robbie, just couldn't remember which one it was but he didnt have her for long.
