Sailed as 3rd on the Maturata's sister ship Maskelya 59/60

Did you ever come across Eddie Quinn in your travels.He was an engineer and sailed on Maskeliya at some point amongst others of course.

Sorry, never met any engineers named Eddie Quinn. When I was on the Maskeliya the Chief was Ronnie Iliffe and if my memory serves me right the 2nd Eng. was Ian Aiton from the Glasgow area.

Great pic - I love the old river shots whether Calcutta or London Docks or anywhere. Lots of river traffic around and about icluding lighters, and classic cargo ships with derricks and company flags.
