The Bristol tug MEDWAY was photographed off Portishead on 8th September 1969, exactly fifty years ago today.

P.W.Hobday kindly advises as follows:

Dutch built in 1964 as NIGER, bought by T.R.Brown in 1965 to replace previous steam tug 'Medway' built in 1906.

Transferred to the Clyde in 1980 and r

If you have Marine Traffic. Check out Devonport Dockyard and on the opposite side is Yonderberry Oil Jetty. There is a vessel of the Same name working there.
