Was you onboard 1972/3? At that time there was a friend of mine called John English who was working onboard her, it was his first ship and he was a deckboy.

This John English sailed on the Methane Princess and several Shell tankers in the 1970's. I have not asked him if he gets the mickey taken out of him because of the spoof spy's name.
