I'm going to be building a model of the Deeside using the Model Slipway kit of the Maggie M Mbe ( same class of Campbeltown 87's just that the Deeside's now a twin rigger ).

Hello Davie, I drew a model plan of Deeside when she was Marigold, drawn from Campbelltown originals, let me know if you would like a copy.

Hi Jim , i've already bought the Maggie M kit which should be pretty easy to modify. All i've to do is alter the stern gantry and put in a few more trawl wire guide blocks. I've got quite a few photo's of her to work from so its my winter project for this year.

Thanks for the offer Jim if I get stuck i'll give you a shout.

Yes shes the 80ft version but really only a scaled down version of the 87ft Campbeltown boats so I can alter the kit and it will look in proportion and look right.

Still haven't made a start yet , something to do with Christmas/New Year and running a wargames club lol.
