Was escorted onto the cruise terminal berth by CAPETAN GIANNIS. I took a photo of it but hadn't realised its history until you mentioned it.

She is looking very well kept and a credit to her crew. Nice to see.

I recall she used to work out of Torpoint taking refuse barges for dumping in Whitesand Bay, 70 - 80's.
worked alongside Avongarth.

Great to see another of Rea Towing Companys Old Fleet still employed, in the case of this tug over 50 years!!

She was built at Yarwoods, Northwich, Cheshire in 1960 for Reas and named Plumgarth.
Gross Tonnage: 174 - LOA/Beam - Not known.
Sold on in 1985 and renamed Minotavros - Under Greek Flag.

Her current owners: Jas John Adamis & Spyrou Athousakos, Irakleion, Greece.
Ship Managers: Adamis/Thousakis, Irakleion, Greece.
