There were three vessels of this class (C9-M-132b) built by American President Lines: President Lincoln, Monroe, and Washington. They were purchased by Matson and renamed: Manoa, Mahimahi, Mokihana. They were lovely ships before Matson added that awful garage to the stern of the Mokihana! Here's her sister the President Lincoln in her former livery: http://www.shipsnostalgia.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/222646/title/president-lincoln/cat/513
Ah yes, I'd forgotten all about those President Line ships, lovely boats in their original format indeed. But at least they are still afloat and working, garage and all, whereas so many others are gone to razor blades.
