For someone like me, who knows next to nothing about such vessels and the work they do, I am delighted to learn something through these fine paintings. As I have often said, I find it hard to like these vessels in aesthetic terms, but, when I see them at work, I think they are wonderful. Made for the job. Rob Andrew's paintings have taught me an immense amount. The ships themselves are not 'beauties', as I have said to Rob, and they are not meant to be, but his paintings certainly are! So thanks very much, Eric - and Rob. Please keep educating me in this splendid way! Donald.
