German Steamer NESTOR (1), imo 5600668/ 72m/ 8kn; 04/1894 completed by Grangemouth Dockyard, Grangemouth, as WESTFALEN for Rabien & Stadlander GmbH, Bremen; 1898 NESTOR, DG Neptun, Bremen; 23/12/1909 due stream of the great river Douro flood, she broke her moorings and went adrift without crew being aground in a bar breakwater. One month after she was refloated by German tug NEWA, which towed her to Lisbon for repairs, meanwhile return to the service; 1912 VLADIMIR, V. Olivier, Austro-Hungarian flag. After the war she became Italian and in 1923 Yugoslavian; 31/03/1933 foundered 23 nm WxN Cape Serrat, near Bizerta.
