New York 1986

Here we have an aerial photo of the New York passenger terminal in 1986. There is a nice collection of 7 passenger/cruise ships in the photo. The photo was the centerfold picture in a book.
We can all see the QE2, do we have anybody out there who can put a name to the others?

I will give it a shot: L to R: Royal Viking Sky/Star/Sea (1973), Oceanic (1965), Atlantic (1982), QE2, Nordic Prince/ Song Of America (1971) (After lengthening?), Bermuda Star/ Liberte (1958) and Britannis (1932).

Finnpartner, you know your ships, 7 out of 7.

The RVL ship is the Royal Viking Sea and the RCCL ship is the Nordic Prince.

Each ship is easily recognisable (and favourite)! But I had to search about the Bermuda Star/ Liberte! ;-)

Song of Norway, America was 1980 now Thomson Destiny. Sailed on Song of norway in 2000 as Sundream, it was rumoured she would be scrapped due to rusty tanks tops, but she still sales on as Dream. They looked better with funnel bar removed, Finnpartner, why did the 3rd sister not get lengthed?
