Lifeboat davit are from when built in 1939 those of the Northern boats who survived the war had them re fitted except the Northern Duke who had a different type of davits.
Am i rigth about this matter GY members ???

Right again nicolina, the Northern Duke had a typical UK boat davits fitted, but I don't know the reason.
The Northern Gift had the original davits when returned after WW2 but did not sail with a GY registration. Renamedf Kari wasn't she?
