Norwegian fishing vessels at Klaksvík, Faroe Islands. Postcard. Early 60's? Late 50's? The M 100 SØ is ØYBRAND, built at Hjelset, Norway in the 30's. She was owned by Iver Hagen, and skipper used to be Olaf Iversen.
Good chance it was one of the Richard Irvin boats , they had a fleet of distant water steam trawler operating out of North Shields ( well registered there anyway lol ) post WW2. As for the colours i'd say this was a Black and White image that has been hand tinted , very common in the 1950's.
