Nope not a 17 anywhere. Giant food mixer Brian, God what size are the meals in your house and can I come. Sorry bugger all to do with HVAC (heating ventilation or air conditioning) Told you I was a smart ar** LOL

Is that a clock on the top?

If so it must be Newcomen's original atmospheric engine-powered steam clock from 1797. They have got gradually smaller since then. ;)

has to be a generator of sorts, maybe with a AC converter on it. too big to be a guiness pump mate

Hee hee hee I've got you lot stumped at last, well at least until Dox casts his eye over it. Sorry but the building in the background has nothing to do with it, it IS a power station but not part of Harland and Wolff.
