Not much difference?

Not much difference?

Phto for my U.K. discharge book on going to sea as a cadet 1956. Photo in Panama discharge book when appointed master on my first Panamanian ship 1968.

Got the idea for posting this from Dave Beaumont's posting. Perhaps a few more members could do similar.

Well, the master looks a good deal more self-assured than the cadet I'd say. Regards, Stein.

Hi Greg! Yes I survived for 8 years as harbour master and then went to Canberra for my sins. It was all good fun! You should enjoy this site, it is one of the very best!

Well John that 12 year span didn't do your youthfulness any harm and no doubt any deterioration thereon can be blamed on sheer experience.
They used to say that the wrinkles are the grooves that store the knowledge.
