Stan, I have a recollection that she spent a long time laid up in KGV Dock - as NOVA L. Used to see her there everytime I came over the road bridge in the early 80s. Never saw her on the move though.

She was built in 1939 by J.Jacobs, Moorrege as KATHE THEUNERT. She became NOVA in 1954, GOLDEN BRIDGE in 1973, and NOVA-L in 1974, owned by James Michael Woods of Ipswich. Even though she's not exactly new in the photo, she still seems quite a dated design for 1939.
