And 99% of those travelling on board these ships don't give a sh1t as to how the vessel looks on the outside. All they're interested in is where they are going and what's on the inside.

Goes with the territory on these vessels, & as they sail with a high load factor, it must be what punters want.

It LOOKS, from that view, exactly the same as many modern resort hotels.
The big difference is that it moves and the paying guest is not condemned to sit on the same beach every day of their 'holiday'.

Years ago no decades you would not think a cruise ship would look like this, far to many on board a real night mare especially in a emergency.
Some female passenger fell in to the sea and was never recovered at the weekend from PACIFIC DAWN between noumea and Brisbane. Apparently being sick and vomiting. Middle aged and with family. Seems a ridiculous scenario to me. No suspicious cir***stances.

Some people like being in close proximity to others: just imagine the noise coming through the walls at night from above, below, left and right.....

Some others don't.
