And I thought it was George Formby cleaning windows, sorry. I wouldn't climb down that ladder for a pound a window even with the soft landing. Great shot and even greater nerve, well done that man.

If that is over the bow we had a bowsin in wire rigged which pulled you tight to the ships side,as you say John no safety harness or lifejackets, a bit iffie if the ship was lying in a fast flowing river. (EEK)[=P]

Terence, only for a short time in a converted Dutch trawler doing the "puffer runs" West Coast and I. of M.
from N.I. Highest point of the bulwarks to the water was only seven feet at the bow so no vertigo working over the side.
