Oronsay
Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company’s Oronsay, photographed on her trials in April 1951.
Launched on 30 May 1951 her completion was delayed by eight weeks after she caught fire in the fitting out berth at her Barrow builders in Oct 1950. A fire which took two days to put out.

An old school mate of mine, Donny Sutherland bailed out of Her in Auckland 1959.
I went to see him in 1963,he was living in Onehunga.
The way this country is going. I think I should have stayed in Kiwi.
