Portsmouth to Ryde and excursion work.
Served as a minesweeper and was at Dunkirk in WWII.
825GT, 254' x 30', compound diagonal, coal fired, 1,183 passengers, 16 knots.
Sister, 'Southsea', was mined and lost in 1941.
Her last operating season was 1962 and the following year she was broken up at Ghent, Belgium.
