Plenty of trade then obviously, seven ships on charter!

Apologies for the quality, the original in a sorry state.

I was on the old Mathura first tripper apprentice, interesting to learn that we had just arrived at Gan

Danny Roberts sent this to my parents for information.

Nice find Michael, I've played with a bit of contrast and they've printed out a treat.

I'd never seen a ship pos list with so many on it, when I applied in '64 they boasted a fleet of 20 but one was already awash in the Hoogly. And all the older ones had gone, except Malakand, my first ship, and Mahanada.

Did Maihar ever make 100 voyages, she lasted another 5 years after that list I think.

The young lass or whoever has trouble with her uppercase "A"s. I used to hate those things at sea, when we got a PC on Lucerna in '85 it was a revelation

Hugh , I think poor old Brocklebanks offices got the worn out cast off typwriters from Cunard, some of the letter arms are obviously a little out of square !

I believe the Maihar reached her voyage centenary in 1960, I am unsure of her grand total but it was about 103 I think.

Some record in 45 years service.
