Interesting pics of the MSC. I never went along it, although would have liked! This looks like a very close quarters situation to me but probably the norm in that waterway.

Pure nostalgia for me Chris. Thanks for posting. Always wondered what it looked like from another ship when we were taking up most of the canal !

I have a few more of the Manachester Courage in the MSC which I will add today. I was Master of the Esso Purfleet at the time and I have many memories of meeting liners in the MSC on our very frequent trips to Trafford Park. As you say, a very tight fit? Brgds Chris Allport
