Pat M on the 30th april 2007 alongside on our fornightly Pitstop for Fuel and Water prior to going out Dredging again..

Hi Rob,
Yes she will be towed from here as its classed as an Antlantic voyage and Pat M is only allowed to sail on her own up to 50 miles off the coast, for example her first job was from Grimsby to Dublin and she went round the land herself 5 knots max, so any coastal passage she can do but from here to the mainland is about a 800 mile fetch...so no can do....

Hi rob,
She handles quite well with it on the Beam but on the nose she,s not handy at all as it all comes to a standstill as you can see the Bow is not very aerodynamic at all, she,s very manouverable also with 2 props (360 degree Aquamaster type) powered by twin ***mings, therefore good for getting into tight areas. all in all a handy vessel..
