Pioneer as she looks today.
Built in Porthleven in 1917 as Our Katie for Mount's Bay Fishing Company. Original number unknown but there is a fair chance it was FH 350.
Bought in 1963 by Basil Hendy of Penzance & re-named Pioneer. She lay rotting i

Thank you for uploading that one Martin, I recall she was Rolls Royce engined, and didnt half shift !!

I seem to remember when she first had the rolls royce it cracked her deck. too much engine for her. Cheers Jan.

That doesnt surprise me, I remember she went round in 2 hours 43 minutes, and that was when the race was 3 laps of Torbay.
