I bought this photo along with other shipping photos at a car boot sale, the above information is on the back of the photo along with what I presume is the photographers name....G W Goslin.

The Port Adelaide was the first Port Line vessel to have her main diesel engine modified for the use of heavy fuel oil.
In 1953 she discharged 5,000 tons of New Zealand butter in Gdynia, Poland.
