Harrisons (Clyde) Ltd, long time charter to Port Line

3,219 Posts
The "Port Denison" was originally laid down by her Swedish builders for the Norwegian firm of Skibs A/S Lise. Launched as the "Fair Lady" during June 1959, the vessel was sold while fitting out in October of that year to Dornock Shipping Company (managed by Harrisons) and renamed "Vimeira". She bore this name until taken up on time charter by the Port Line in 1960.
