I was a cadet on her in 1967/8.(Herefordshire days) An interesting point is that the original cadets accommadation had been in a deck house abaft the funnel. This was converted to a swimming pool and the cadets Accom. was moved to the Doctor's cabin port side aft under the bridge, Plus another on the starboardside. Also there was no interior stairway from the Deck officer's Accommadtion(Lower Bridge Deck) to the rest of the accommadtion. That meant that in a gale etc you had to use the outside ladders to get to the saloon, lounge, bar etc. and anyone wanting to access the bridge/captain from the main accom.had to do the same.
