To me the nearest Hapag ship looks like one of the Solingen class ( 7 ships in ths class ).

With that funnel the Ellerman ship can only be either the City of Brisbane or City of Winchester.

Port Sydney: Swan Hunter yard number 1827, launched 29.10.54 Twin Doxford 670LBD6 engines by Wallsend Slipway.
1972 Akroti Express. 1974 Daphne. 1975 converted to a cruise liner. 1976 Switzerland. 2002 Ocean Odyssey. 2002 Ocean Monarch. 2008 Princess Daphne. 2014 broken up at Alang. Sixty years old when broken up. Some amazing photos of it when it was Princess Daphne and a brilliant videos on Youtube of the engine room in use.
