Having just been lowered back to the water, this grand old lady still looks immaculate after almost 48 years.

Wish the mast didn't have two missing flag halliards, it's not a criticism, just I love these boats so much.

My favourite livery was the much lighter Green, (known as 'Apple Green'), the logo wasn't arrows going in opposite directions from each other then, but a 'Poppy Red' logo with White letters, that read PHF. 'Solent Enterprise' had a lovely Dark Green band painted outboard, round the entire ferry.

I remember that well Johnnie, and as we all know those years were nostalgic. On the plus side this vessel is old yet only thing wrong is the halliards, that's not bad going . During her 5 day stay nothing major was done to the Portsmouth Queen suggesting they are indeed well kept.

Sold to London, currently moored at Greenhithe being repainted and renamed 'London Queen'. She left Gosport for the very last time on leap year 2016. ending 50 years of service as a Gosport Ferry. Being refitted to become a London cruise Ferry.
