What an excellent picture - and interesting comparison in terms of size. Well done Sir (Thumb)

Interesting to note that Thailand exports vehicles to Australia. They're probably largely pick-up trucks, as Toyota and Isuzu have plants there. Apparently, South-Eastern Thailand produces more pick-ups than Detroit ! Trade is not all one-way, though; there is a power station at Map Taphut just down the coast that runs on Australian coal !

it always amases me that with so little under the water line, and so much top hamper, how, a] they don't capsize and b] how , when navigating rough weather, cars aren't damaged in great numbers.

Perhaps that's why they carry so many! Some get written off but the others go through. (In other words, some cars are sacrificial!)
