Looks to be working her `jumbo` at Nos 2 hatch, & the topmast looks out of alignment, optical illusion maybe.

A rare shot of a PSNC ship with pink bootopping!

Hi Cranfield,

I am very excited seeing this picture as I was actually on the ship at the time as a very young Navigation Cadet known to all on board as ''Blue'' (I looked like the character of the same name in the western TV series High Chaperral which was on television at the time)

It was the start on my second ever deep sea trip and my second on the Potosi.

We arrived at Swansea on 2nd September 1972 having sailed there from London. We left Swansea on 6th September 1972 on route to Hamilton, Bermuda before going down the west coast of South America.

Stephen think she might have been under Furness Ship Management by this time. The Green Boot Topping has been over painted by the Black and it is the Red Antifouling which is visible.

A nice photo even if breaking out the Jumbo has given what would appear the top mast a forward lean. Surely not!?
