Much as I dislike the look of the re-worked stern, the overhang provides a marvelously shady spot, protected from the wind, at the aft end of PRINDENDAM's wrap-around Lower Promenade Deck. There are two rows of teak steamer chairs facing the wake, and it is a favorite spot for passengers wanting to read when the sun is too dazzlingly bright on either the port or starboard promenades. A silver lining so to speak...
