This is a very rare and interesting photo dom!
At the end of WW2, PUEBLA (ex-ORINOCO) was returned to Mexico only to be sold to the Greek-controlled "Southern Steamships" of Johannesburg.
She was renamed OLYMPIA and after a short refit she made her first voyage from New York to Piraeus in January 1947.
While at Piraeus for some reason she was reverted to PUEBLA and returned in New York in February. She did not sailed again until sold that April to an Argentinian affiliate of Ybarra Line and renamed JUAN DE GARAY.
This is the only picture that I have seen of the ship while under the Greek management. Now, a picture of her as the OLYMPIA rests to be found!
