Queen Mary

Photographed on the 24 March 1936 , leaving the Clydebank and after a brief two day stay at Gourock where adjustments were made to her compasses and her completment of lifeboats were loaded, before sailing to Southampton. She had left the Clydebank with only two lifeboats on board as emergency boats to reduce her weight during her passage down the Clyde. Another messure to reduce weight was she had not received her furniture and only carried sufficent fuel for her journey to Southampton.
