Hulked at Long Beach, California 1967.

She spent just over a month in Southampton before her final departure on 31st October 1967.

The ship did 2 short cruises to Las Palmas before heading off into the final sunset.

Hadn't realised this alan, I had assumed that she was in Southampton preparing to go to her final resting place.

I always thought that she took paying passengers to Long Beach and that some of them were moaning about the air conditioning and saying that it was not up to scratch and occasionally breaking down when she was in the Tropics.......

The Queen carried passengers on her final voyage to California. The lack of air conditioning in the tropics was an issue for many passengers.
