Built in 1919/26/10 by W.Doxford & Sons Ltd Pallion Sunderland Great Britain as " LINDERTON " for Carton Steamship Co Ltd & Cambay Steamship ( Chapman & Son Ltd Newcastle as manager) Newcastle Great Britain.

Tonnage : grt / nrt / tdw - 6.852 / 4.082 / 10.040.
Machinery : Triple Exp.Steam Engine (27.0"-45.0"-75.0" Stroke 54.0") - 619 Hhp.
Main Boiler : 3 x Steam Boilers total heating area 9.525 ft2.

1919/09/11 Drove ashore approx.0.5 nm from Pier 9 South Shield Great Britain after dragging anchors With machinery disabled whilst on a voyage from River Tyne GB to to Baltimore MD USA in ballast.Broken in two ,Bow section refloated 06/04 and stern section refloated 18/05.Sold to Anglo-Saxon Petroleum Co Ltd London Great Britain.Both parts towed to Rotterdamsche Droogdok Maaatschappij Netherland.Repaired and rebuilt to oil tanker.
1921 Repair Completed,renamed " RADIX ".
1929 Sold to A/S Mosvold Rederi III ( Martin Mosvolds Rederi A/S Kristiansand as manager ) Kristiansand Norway.
1932 Owners Company moved to Farsund Norway.
1936 Sold/Transferred to A/S Mosvold Shipping Co ( Same manager ) Farsund Norway.
1938 Sold to Johann Haltermann Reederei Hamburg Germany,renamed " TINE ASMUSSEN ".
1940 Sold to PetroleosMaxicanos SA Coatzacoalcos Mexico,renamed " JUANCASIANO ".
1944 Founded 19/10 in heavy weather apprix 90 nm from Savannah GA USA whilst on voyage from Tampico Mexico to New York NY USA.
