Redheads yard?

Redheads yard?

This is a painting I imported from Canada.
It is signed J.Young and dated 1970.
Can anyone identify the yard please.
Is it Vancouver B.C.
ps...I hope this is the right place to upload
the image. Best Wishes Scorcher.

Greetings All,

johnalderman, my experience of "Geordie" painters was that there was always a lot of "Poetic Licence" used. Waterproof paint & etc.

You can't get enough photos of "O'Boats".

PS.

johnalderman, are you the John Alderman who used to lecture at SSMTC?

Greetings again johnalderman,

Given my age the John Alderman, lecturer from my days at SSMTC, must be seriously ancient. But it was worth a punt. If he is reading this I will get so much aggrro from him, and I would really like to.
