She is one of a class of motor yacht built by John Robbins of Newhaven in the mid-eighties. They mainly built trawlers, amongst others, Polly Ann - BM 146 & Lady Sylvia - E 107, so their motor yachts probably inherited trawler looks too.
This boat is one of two that were built by builders at Sarisbury Green. The bulders kept one the other which this one is was bought by the Admiralty and became a recreational boat in Devonport replacing the last operational MFV with RN. She was called PELICAN with the RN. Indeed she was on the telly and lost power off Bincleaves Weymouth on passage to the 2005 Review on the Solent. Not sure when she was sold out of service, but she changed names under RN control when she went to Portsmouth. Regards Tony.
