Thanks to all for the positive comments. These are fascinating and yes, ugly, vessels and they are an absolute bear to turn into an interesting illustration. The old saying about trying to turn sow's ear into a silk purse kept coming to mind while I was working on this one. This was my third attempt to do one of this type ships and it was a struggle each time to take a box with a round end and make an interesting composition out of it (the other two went into the trash).
