She is the Queen Mary 2. Her name should be in the Title and Keywords. This is so that members can find her in Search. All vessels should be named in the Title and Keywords. You can add information below such as Royalty in Sydney but not in the Title. She us also a transatlantic ocean liner and is RMS, but does not carry mail. She was designed as a liner, not a cruise ship.

As David as rightly pointed out.

Members searching for particular ship's the name should be in the title and keywords.

The use of brackets as in ( ) doesn't work.

After using the search engine for Queen Mary 2 this photo along with the other photo does not appear.

Reason for this as it's still shown as Royalty in Sydney (Queen Mary 2).

For the photo to appear under the search engine for the Queen Mary 2 the "Royalty in Sydney" plus the (Queen Mary 2) needs to replaced by just Queen Mary 2.

To other members reading this, bewarned..... await the vile abuse directed towards me for kindly pointing this out.

Regards to you all as it's going to be nasty I can assure you!

Sean

Edit.....No abuse thrown at me which was rather strange considering the history, perhaps no embarrassment was wanted!

There is some confusion coming from numerous news outlets regarding Cunard cancellations of the World voyages of the Queen Elizabeth, Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria.

It has been reported that all three Queens are returning immediately back to Southampton.

The Queen Mary 2 currently in Fremantle, Australia will cease her current itinerary and will return immediately to Southampton with no arrival date planned as yet. It is yet unknown what course she will take on her return to Southampton but it is expected to be via Cape Town. It's also unknown at this stage if she will continue with guests or that they will all disembark in Fremantle, Australia.

The Queen Victoria was originally expected to finish her world voyage in Southampton on 04 April 2020, she is expected to berth as scheduled at Ft Lauderdale on 16 March 2020 disembarking North American guest's. Queen Victoria will continue her voyage back to Southampton omitting her scheduled port of call at Ponta Delgada in the Azores. Her scheduled arrival at Southampton is now the 24 April 2020 where she will disembark her guests.

Today 15 March 2020 via a video news release our president Simon Palethorpe announced that all sailings are preliminary cancelled up until the 11 April 2020 although it's a very fluid situation and obviously this will obviously change. He also mentioned that for the time being the Queen Elizabeth will stay in Australia although it's not clear where she will remain, she is currently berthed in Sydney. The Queen Elizabeth was on an extended itinerary and was not expected to return back to her home port of Southampton until 2021. A further announcement regarding the Queen Elizabeth is expected soon.

Obviously the situation is changing on a daily basis but the Coronavirus is having a huge impact on the entire worldwide industry with all cruise lines ceasing all operations with their vessels being laid up.

The Port of Miami and the Port Everglades are waiving port fees whilst the ships are laid up in port. I hope that other port's follow suit including the Port of Southampton.

The situation is the worst to hit the industry and it will have a major impact which will last for a long length of time. It's a very sad time for everyone concerned.

Regards

Sean

According to the BBC News midday today - All Guests on the Queen Mary 2 will be disembarked in Australia and flown home. The exception being guests who cannot fly for whatever reason who will remain on board for the voyage back to Southampton.

I would guess that valid reasons would be something serious such as an aortic aneurysm.
